Lower City Rep

So I've been hitting up Shadow Labs, and Sekketh Halls, to try and get my rep up with lower city, I prefer doing Slabs because as I progress through that Marks of Sargeras drops and thats Aldor rep as well....So I'm essentially hitting two birds with one stone...

I never thought that I would ever need anything for a normal slabs, but behold, I managed to land myself a new necklace..The run I was doing it with, the group were all heroic deck'd so we pulvarized through slabs, in a matter on minutes...I think the quickest we did it was 39 minutes, so it was good rep really....and I was the only aldor of the group, so they were handing me all the marks..



I managed to gain roughly 10k with aldor and 9k with lower city, which yeh leaves 12k left with lower city to get my mace...all I need to do then I get +40 wepon damage enchant on it and Ill have an extra 38 dmg..



It was a fun run of slabs all and all, and I meet a mage who showed me something new, the Zealots in the instance turn to a kind of dog, that looks Urrvos in Shadowmoon Valley, the mage can spell steal them and transfor themselfs, pretty funny :D

Another Kaz Run

Just did a run of Kaz, Bloodscalp is being shutdown for 2hrs for a new patch to be put in, sucks for a Friday night I'll just stay up and have a go later, the run did the Chess event, which is really quite fun that was the first time I'd done it, I played as a Wolf...

We did Shade of Aran, which is always a fun fight, I had to Earth Shock Fireballs, to stop them from being cast. I also got to do Prince, I so want the dagger and necklace he drops....but to my surprise I landed the T4 helm and a new cloack, has +spell hit and also 8 more damage then what I previously had....




The T4 helm gives me the 2 peice T4 bonus, which for a caster shammy is +20 extra dmg to wrath of air totem....pretty good I reckon...so now my total dmg, is higher which also helps with healing, and my spell hit and mp5 is also higher, so yeh more gear I get better for raids n stuff...

Honored Aldor

So I got my rep to honored with aldor and bought the +15 dmg enchant to my shoulders....I'm going to work further on getting the rep to revered, because I can get a +18 dmg and +10 crit enchant to my shoulders which will be bettera :D




It brings my damage up a bit, all helps :D I've got 15k to go to get to revered, but I can buy that amount of rep, buy buying Marks of Seregase, it will probably cost roughly 150g to get that rep. I will probably just farm it all :D

Heroic SP

I had another run of Heroic SP yesterday, all was going well....regardless of the group I have got very familiar with Slave Pens and can coordinate a group quite well, I almost always have to kite at least 1 add, but am getting rather good at that, so I tend to kill 1 add by myself and come back and help the group out......I did 40% of the total damage for the entire run, and we got all the way to the last boss with only a few deaths here and there and everything was going well.....

I was mid explaining the next pull to the rogue in our group when someone started the event, even after I had yelled 3 times do not open the cage it triggers the event, some noob went and did it!!! And without any of us being ready for it most of us died, including the NPC at the end that gives us our nice Nature Resistance buff for the last boss!! OMG I was so angry, I knew who did it but they wouldn't admit to it....we attempted the last boss regardless, and after 5 wipes I just left the group....

I hope the person who opened the cage and made the other 4 of us not have a hope in hell at finishing the instance feels like a total jack ass.....Also he will never be getting an invite from me again to run any instance....I did how ever get 2 badges, so only 7 more to go till I get my totem! YAY!

Who says elemental can't heal!

The advantage of being an elemental shammy, is all my +dmg and spell crit stacks with my healing...Although I only have 17 points in healing, heals like these can save the day...

3 Months

So its been 3 months since I last posted about WoW, I had a month break and have been getting back into it for the last few months.....I'm actually raiding with the guild as an Elemental Shaman now, pretty rare lol....I got the 3% crit totem and stuff so I'm getting some spots for that, but not very often, and after discussing it with the officers I will be getting more spots, but spaced further apart....bit more planned out which is good for me because I have a little one at home and its hard to manage RL and WL lol...





So I've had a few raids with them and picked up quite a few epics...I've been busy getting enchants and farming mats etc....Got a few more things on the to do list, I need 12 more Heroic Badges so I can get my new Totem, which reduces the mana cost of Lighting Bolt by 25, which will help heaps in raids...

I need a new necklace and 2 new trinkets....which I've been working on doing....and I need to get the enchant from Aldor rep to my head, and the enchant to my shoulders from getting Revered with Shat'tari, atm I'm 20k of that so got a while to go with that one...but they'll come, and when I get those enchant I'll have +800 Nature dmg with current gear and +750 normal dmg, which is really getting up there...I had to respec, yesterday still elemental but put points into threat reduction, I had to keep slowing down or stopping my DPS because I didn't have that talent and basically as my +dmg has got higher I need it now....

So my current build is 44/0/17, I sacrificed 3% critical strike chance with healing / lighting spells for +6% hit chance and -10% threat....

Basically all my items now are epics, except, my weapon, my trinkets, and my necklace, and totem....I spent 33 badges on a really awesome shield, its the best shield I can get in the game for my build....

Getting key'd to Kaz was a total &*%^ but it's done now, I have to say BM was the hardest to pass.....and although I'm raid spec'd elemental I still can gank the ^*&* out of most people, luv it!

WOW Update

So, been playing a fair bit of WoW lately, much to my wife's dismay. I have 500g at one stage and decided to respec and by a shield I was after. I have 3 pieces of my wishlist already. I've updated the one on my PC I need to upload it to the net, will do that when I get home and post a picture of the shield.

I spent 100g and only had 400g remaining, I seemed to be quite stuck at the 400g mark for a while hey. Anyway I managed to get the 900g I needed to get my flying mount, I went from 400g to 840g in 2 days of farming and questing hardcore in Shadowmoon Valley. There is a section there with lots of blood elves that you need to kill for one quest, I camped that area for about 4 hours just farming them. Got 8 Arcane Tomes and 60 Sunfury Rings, which are rep for Scyer people, I'm Aldor, so I sold them all on AH. And made an absolute killing.



So Yeah I got my flying mount Ill post a picture, I've also had a crack at Arena, which is cool me and my Friend Piko made a group called Coldies, we were drunk at the time.....

But yeh I respeced to Natures Swiftness instead of the 3% CRIT totem for this, and it was good in the fact me and him could nuke 1 person dead in a 2v2 comp fairly ez, but in battle grounds I was getting less score per kill with NS then with my 3% crit totem, so I have changed back. I can still hit up arenas, I think maybe a 3v3 arena would be better with the build I have now though, but I havent tryed since I changed back to the 3% crit totem, its heaps better then NS for raids and instance though. Oh also I got revered with Centurion Refuge, so now I have my heroic key for steamvault and underbog and slave pen, gonna try and pull a group together tonight for it that will be really fun :D

Stats and progress

Ok, so here is where I'm at with my toon, previously on my way to leveling to 70, I managed to rack up over 8k Hp and Mana, well I've lost stats in beetween dropping items and things for my different specs that I picked up, not only that but I've been saving like mad and haven't bought anything for ages now haha, have 400g, only 550g to go for my dumb flying mount.



Anywayz, I don't have over 8k hp anymore, but thats because I've been sacrafising that for critical strikes, because of my new build.



This is some of the quipment I've landed in the past week for my toon, all and all not bad, I've had a few chnats put opn em all, but yeh he's starting to rock out!

Steamvault

Done my 2nd Key Fragment for Kaz, fark Steamvault is easy as pie compared to Shadow Lab.... Didn't take long at all, didn't get any drops, but we pulverized through it in about 30-40mins....An awesome piece dropped for the rogue in our group though, I was truly amazed at how good it was, check out these stats....

PVP

I've done a bit of PVP since the respec, and its heaps of fun, took me a while to learn how to use my new spec, but now its wicked, I've been smashing up the BG's even topping the chart a few times.



This one BG I was in a group with another elemental shaman, with Totem of Wrath and also in the group with a Moonkin druid. Moonkin druids give you 5% chance to crit with spells, on top of my Wrath totem, which is 3%, and the cool thing I found out is that Totem of Wrath stacks, so the other elemental shammy dropped one aswell, which gave 2x 3% spell crit totems and a 5% crit aura from the Moonkin Druid. MY LIGHTING BOLT CRIT WAS UP TO 36% IT WAS INSANE.



Shouldn't take long to get either my lvl70 BG Shoulders, or save up to get a new Spellblade.....Yesterday I run into a room, and the 3 ally toons in there had under 2k hp each, I Warstomp'd and pop'd elemental Mastery, my +150dmg trinket dropped wrath totem for +101 dmg, and got chain lighting off, 3x killing blows......was pretty funny!
